Coface COUNTRY RISK CONFERENCE 2023

"SWITZERLAND - EUROPEAN UNION: RESTART OR DEAD END?"

Coface country Risk Conference 2023

November 28 2023, Zürich

Between Switzerland and the European Union, commercial relationships are complicated. On May 26, 2021, Switzerland broke off talks on the Framework agreement, that it had itself initiated to clarify institutional trade issues between the two. Since the talks broke off, the existing agreements from the early 2000s have not been updated, and consequences are noticeable. In March 2023, the government commissioned the drafting of the key points for a new negotiation mandate with EU.

So the main question is: «Restart or dead end?»

The official language of the conference will be English!
